Career Options Unlimited acquaints middle and high school students and educators with the wide variety of careers available today and encourages young women to enter careers in nontraditional fields.

Many YWCA TWIN Honorees as well as sponsor companies participate in our numerous Career Options programs for students and educators throughout the school year.

Services and programs provided to schools free of charge include:

• Guest speakers for classroom presentations, panels and career days
• Work shadowing
• Field trips and corporate site visits
• Mentor relationships
• Educators' Workshop

  Educators participate in a panel presentation with representatives of the business community to discuss current and projected employment trends and 21st century marketable job skills.

• Job Preparation Workshop for Students

  A half-day series of workshops for junior and senior high school students designed to identify career interests, prepare the student for the job search, and define the skills necessary for successful entry into the workforce.
