Early Act Club

The YWCA is aware of the growing concern children are expressing about their communities and what they can do to help improve the communities they live in.  The YWCA commends children for wanting to strengthen their community links and respects the children for the contributions they are willing to make.  The YWCA, with the Rotary of Plainfield/ North Plainfield has established the Early Act Club.

The 2007 Theme: Lend a Helping Hand

Early Act is a community service group for children.  The children in the YWCA of Central NJ After-School Program have been provided with the opportunity to participate in this program.  Each child will develop leadership, responsibility, dependability, empathy, respect, caring, tolerance, citizenship, compassion and friendship as a result of their participation in Early Act.

This is a group for children, by children.  The children will function in the roles of President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer.

For more information, please contact the Early Act Club Advisor, Yolanda Fuller McCloud @ (908) 756-3500 ext. 126
