celebrating 105 years of serving the community in 2012. You can
support our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women by
joining now. It's only $35/year for Annual YWCA Membership dues.
Why
support the YWCA of CNJ?
In 2011, we brought on
a new Board of Directors, a new CEO, and several other key staff
members. Under the new leadership:
·CHILD
CARE: Our
enrollment in 2012 is 55 percent higher than 2011.
·TWIN:
We launched our Twin Academy Lunch and Learn Series in March 2012.

·BANK
PARTNERSHIP: We
formed a new partnership with 12 branches of Bank of America (in
Middlesex, Union, and Somerset counties). Branch managers and their
staff are volunteering at the YWCA to clean, tutor, and serve as
speakers in our TWIN Academy.
·UPGRADES:
We expanded our hours, fixed our pool and sauna, purchased three rooms
of fitness equipment, and added fitness classes for children and
adults.We revamped
our website and increased our social media presence.
·STAND
AGAINST RACISM:
Our YWCA is now participating in this national annual event.
·
BILINGUAL: We
hired several bi-lingual staff members including our Membership
Services Coordinator, Receptionist, and our Director of Education. Our
website now features a bi-lingual translator.
·COMING
SOON: We plan
to upgrade our computer lab, add English as a Second Language Classes,
and hold the Grand Opening of our Terrace Room Cafe.

movements around the world are invited to join.
Guided tours in various Palestinian towns and sites, presentations on
various main aspects of Palestinian life under occupation, shared
stories by Palestinian youth.
